Well there seems to be at least one label out there picking up new talent. Interscope has just signed YELAWOLF - you will be hearing much more from this guy real soon.

Denmark isn’t known for producing bands, but I came across THE FASHION about a year ago and have since kept them forever circulating in my playlist. Currently in the studio working on their next album, until then go listen to the stuff on MYSPACE.

This is a hot band from Brooklyn, NY named GAME REBELLION, here is a video of their single ‘BLIND’.

I was never a big fan of GYM CLASS HEROES, but I must say after seeing Travie pull off his solo show at SXSW, I was pretty blown away. He’s got some fuckin HITS, especially Billionaire. Go Travie!

I met POLAR BEAR CLUB in Berlin while I was on tour. To be honest, I never really gave them the time of day, but after seeing them play, it taught me a lesson that I need to not sleep on certain bands I read good reviews about. If you are into punk with really catchy guitar riffs and singers that sound like they’ve been smoking since age 3, this is the band for you!

A band from Brooklyn I actually enjoy? Well, I guess it was bound to happen eventually. After listening to ‘Daylight’, I felt like Tony the Tiger just slapped the shit out of me with his white powder goodness. This upbeat medley’s sure to get you going in the morning. When I first heard CHIDDY BANG it was in a really weird environment, I don’t think it came across as it should’ve and so I turned away from it. After seeing them play “Opposite of Adults” at Pete Wentz’s fashion show, it really clicked for me. If he gets that chance to open up for some much bigger acts, we’ll hear everyone singing along to his songs blasting out of their car windows driving down the shore.

I have always had a love for mariachi. Listening to it was was one of my favorite parts about eating at little Mexican joints in southern Texas. So when I heard THE BRONX did MARIACHI EL BRONX, I think everyone thought the same thing I did…it was going to suck asshole. When I finally did hear it, it was absolutely opposite, fucking incredible. This is legit. I hope people really give it a chance cause it is so good.
